Michelle is a serial entrepreneur herself having started 3 businesses. She holds a Postgraduate Cert in Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship from U.C.D.

Michelle is passionate about empowering people to use technology and human skills to be independent entrepreneurs in their own way.

THRIFT AVENUE CHILDRENSWEAR

Pre-loved kids clothes in 2013, a market stall business and her first ever e-commerce store.

FUNKY CRAYONS

Handmade 3D shaped crayons which she sold to customers in 14 different countries! This business also gave birth to her invention Wickids™, a birthday candle that works afterwards as a crayon. As seen on Dragons Den Ireland!

SHOPIFY

Michelle then worked for global e-commerce platform Shopify for 4 years, offering expert support to merchants and entrepreneurs all over the world. 
As well as helping thousands of business owners with their online stores and growth plans, she also moved into a leadership position and coached and mentored hundreds of Shopify Support advisors. She also hosted many webinars for Shopify and spoke at in person conferences too. 

 

As well as these entrepreneurial endeavours, she has volunteered on many community projects close to her heart, such as her local Chamber of Commerce, St. Patrick's Day parade committee, Board of Management of her local Gaelscoil and Irishbizparty, an online community of small business owners.
